• 4.0 out of 5 stars from Callie -- Great book! : I work as a social worker in an elementary school and see A LOT of students for worry/anxiety. It says the target audience is for ages 3-5 but I can easily use it up to 2nd, maybe 3rd grade. I like that it emphasizes that we sometimes have worry/anxiety about exciting things, like trick or treating and Halloween parties. The book does a good job of identifying what the character is worried about and coming up with ways to solve the problem/worry. I like that it talks about making a safety plan to feel safe because it creates an opportunity to have the child create their own safety plan. I wish it gave a little bit more detail about how worry feels inside the character's body (physical sensations) but the author wrote another great book, My Body Signals, that goes into depth for that.
